Netazox
Netazox contains Nitazoxanide
Product Information & Mode of Action: - The antiprotozoal activity of Nitazoxanide is believed to be due to interference with the pyruvate : ferredoxin oxidoreductase (PFOR) enzyme-dependent electron transfer reaction which is essential to anaerobic energy metabolism. This impairs the parasitic function.
Indications: - Nitazoxanide is effective in the diarrhea caused by various strains of protozoas including Giardia intestinalis, Trichomonas vaginalis, Entamoeba histolytica, and Cryptosporidiumparvum.
