Clarie
It contains Clarithromycin.
Product Information & Mode of Action :- Clarithromycin is a macrolide, which exerts its antimicrobial action by binding to 50S subunit of ribosome, resulting in inhibition of protein synthesis, and hence inhibition of cell growth.
Indications :- Clarie is indicated in the treatment of the following infections when caused by susceptible strains of the micro organisms:
- Pharyngitis/ tonsillitis caused by Streptococcus pyogenes.
- Maxillary sinusitis caused by Haemophilus influenza, Moraxella catarrhalis, or Streptococcus pneumoniae.
- Bacterial exacerbation of chronic bronchitis due to Haemophilus influenza, Haemophilus parainfluenza, Moraxella catarrhalis Streptococcus pneumoniae.
- Community acquired pneumonia caused by haemophilus influenza, Haemophilus parainfluenza, Moraxella catarrhalis, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Mycoplasma pneumoniae or Chlamydia pneumoniae.
- In combination therapy for eradication of H. pylori in peptic ulcer disease.
Skin and soft tissue infections caused by Staphylococcus aureus, or Streptococcus pyogenes; disseminated mycobacterial infections due to Mycobacterium avium, Mycobacterium intracellulare.

Swazi
Swazi contains Azithromycin.
Product Information & Mode of Action :- Azithromycin is a macrolide, which exerts its antimicrobial action by binding to 50S subunit of ribosome, resulting in inhibition of protein synthesis, and hence inhibition of cell growth.
Indications :- It is effective against susceptible bacteria causing infections of the middle ear, tonsillitis, throat infections, laryngitis, bronchitis, pneumonia and sinuses. It is also effective against certain sexually transmitted infectious diseases, such as nongonococcal urethritis and cervicitis.

Floroquinolones
Swiflox
Swiflox contains Ciprofloxacin.
Product Information & Mode of Action :- A topoisomerase was identified as the bacterial target site for quinolone action in the late 1970s. Since that time, further study identified two bacterial topoisomerases, DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, as sites of antibacterial activity. Ciprofloxacin, is considered a benchmark while comparison with new fluoroquinolones, shares with these agents a common mechanism of action: inhibition of DNA gyrase. Due to this inhibition the supecoiling in the chains during the protein synthesis does not happen resulting into the disintegration of the bacterial cell wall.
Indications :- Swiflox is used to treat infections of the skin, lungs, airways, bones, and joints caused by susceptible bacteria. Swiflox is also frequently used to treat urinary infections caused by bacteria such as E. coli. Swiflox is effective in treating infectious diarrheas caused by E. coli, Campylobacter jejuni, and Shigella bacteria.

Swoflox
Swoflox contains Ofloxacin.
Product Information & Mode of Action :- Ofloxacin acts by strongly inhibiting DNA supercoiling activity of DNA gyrase. Swoflox exhibits the anti-bacterial activity against Enterobacteriaceae, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Haemophilus influenzae, Branhamella catarrhalis, and Neisseria gonorrhoeae. Staphylococcus epidermidis, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Acinetobacter spp., Legionella spp., Bacteroides fragilis, Escherichia coli, Serratia marcescens and P. aeruginosa.
Indications :- Swoflox is used for the treatment of lower respiratory infections, skin infection, and urinary tract infections including prostatitis, gonorrhea, cervicitis and urethritis. Swoflox has broad activity against bacterial infections and is used in combination with other drugs to treat tuberculosis.
